Biography:
Dr. Parikshit Narendra Mahalle has been serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology in Pune since July 1st, 2021. He earned his B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University in Amravati, India, followed by an M.E. degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune, India. Dr. Mahalle further pursued his studies and obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Wireless Communication from Aalborg University in Aalborg, Denmark.
With a career spanning over 19 years, Dr. Mahalle possesses extensive experience in teaching and research.

Biography:
Professor Xiangjian (Sean) He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Technology Sydney in 1999 and currently holds the positions of Deputy Head of the Computer Science School and Director of the Computer Vision and Intelligent Perception Laboratory at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC).
As a distinguished academic, Professor He has been honored as a National Talent of China with a Chair Professor title and has been recognized in the prestigious 'World Top 2% Scientists' list as reported by Stanford University in 2022, 2023, and beyond.
Prior to his current role, Professor He served as the Professor of Computer Science and Leader of the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Laboratory at the Global Big Data Technologies Centre (GBDTC) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) from 2011 to 2022. He was an active member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Committee and contributed to a UTS Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence through Collaboration in 2018. Additionally, he was recognized as an 'Internationally Registered Technology Specialist' by the International Technology Institute (ITI).
Professor He's leadership and research excellence have been demonstrated through his success in joint research projects with Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), leading to accolades such as the 1st Runner-Up prize for the 2017 VIP Cup and champion for the 2019 VIP Cup, both awarded by the IEEE Signal Processing Society. In 2021, the PolyUTS team, co-led by Professor He and Professor Lam of PolyU, once again secured the 1st Runner-Up award for the 2021 VIP Cup.

Biography:
Dimitrios A. Karras completed his Diploma and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 1985. He continued his academic journey by obtaining a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from NTUA, Greece in 1995, graduating with honors.
For fourteen years, from 1990 to 2004, Dr. Karras worked as a visiting professor and researcher at various universities and research institutes throughout Greece. Since 2004, he has been associated with the Sterea Hellas Institute of Technology, in the Automation Department, serving as an Associate Professor in Digital Systems and Signal Processing until December 2018. Concurrently, he held a position as a visiting professor in Communication Systems at the Hellenic Open University, Department of Informatics from 2002 to 2010.
Starting from January 2019, Dr. Karras serves as an AssociateDimitrios A. Karras obtained his Diploma and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Greece in 1985, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from NTUA in 1995, graduating with honors. Since 2004, Dr. Karras has held positions at the Sterea Hellas Institute of Technology in Greece in the Automation Department, where he served as an associate professor in Digital Systems and Signal Processing until December 2018. He has also been a visiting professor in Communication Systems at the Hellenic Open University since 2002 until 2010.
Since January 2019, Dr. Karras has been an Associate Professor in Digital Systems and Intelligent Systems, focusing on Signal Processing at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Science, Department of General Studies. Biography:
Lei Chen received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University, China. His research interests include image processing and computer vision, visual quality assessment and pattern recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence. He was the principal investigator of projects granted from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc. He has published more than 40 papers on top international journals and conferences in recent years including IEEE TIP, Signal Process., ICME, etc. He was awarded the Future Plan for Young Scholars of Shandong University. He served for many international conferences including the ICIGP 2021, CSAI2022, MLCCIM2022, and ICIVC 2023 as Program Chair, Technical Chair or Publicity Chair.
